Manor Farm Barn “Bunyan’s Barn”, Maydencroft, St Ippolyts Hertfordshire: Tree-ring Analysis of Elm and Oak Timbers

A number of elm timbers were initially assessed as being potentially useful for ringwidth dendrochronology, but were subsequently found to contain fewer rings than expected. None of the elm or oak samples taken dated, although two oak series from the west wall plates did cross-match each other.
