Albert Ball Memorial Homes, Church Street, Nottingham

These old people's homes were built in 1921. They were paid for by Alderman Ball of Lenton in memory of his son, Captain Albert Ball, Royal Flying Corps. Captain Albert Ball was the first British air fighter of World War One to become widely known. He died in 1917.
