Albion Villas, Woolwich Road, Bexley, Greater London

These two semi-detached cottages were built in 1865-6 by Joseph Tall. They are the earliest known surviving houses built by Joseph Tall. He was a pioneer of using concrete shuttering (pouring concrete into a frame to make a large slab) to build houses. He patented his method in 1865. These are among the earliest surviving concrete houses in England.
