Arts theatre workshop, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire

The former Theatre Royal was constructed in 1816. It was built at Barnwell because of prohibition in the University town. The theatre was closed in the late 19th century and was used as a Nonconformist chapel. It reopened and again closed in the twentieth century interwar period.
