Ashton Windmill, Chapel Allerton, Somerset
Ashton Windmill dates to around 1770. It possibly contains part of a medieval windmill on the same spot. The mill stopped working in 1927. It was restored in 1967. A windmill in the manor of Allerton is mentioned in 1317 and in the 15th, 16th and 18th centuries.
