Asia House and Manchester House, Greater Manchester
The front of the warehouses built by Manchester's many shipping merchant companies in the early 20th century are opulent and ornate, often decorated in a Baroque style with terracotta coloured stonework. To the rear they appear more modern, with vast areas of windows.
