Barker's Mills, Beckside, Beverley, East Yorkshire
This picture shows the mill from the banks of the River Beck in the mid 1990s. The mill was built in the early part of the 19th century. At this time river transport was the cheapest and most reliable method of moving produce and raw materials around the country.
