Beauvale Priory, Greasley, Nottinghamshire
The Carthusian Priory of Beauvale was founded by Nicholas de Cantilupo in 1343. It was for a prior and twelve monks. It was dissolved by Henry VIII in 1537. The site was excavated by the Thoroton Society in 1908.
