Blacksmith's Shop, Great Corby, Cumbria

This unusual building was built as a blacksmith's shop in 1833 for the Howard family of Corby Castle. It was built to represent Vulcan's forge. The covered porch was used for shoeing horses. It has since been used as a motor repair workshop.
