Bow Petts Cottages, Back Lane, Godden Green, Kent

Bow Petts Cottages probably date back to the 16th century. They have a high pitched tiled roof and are buit from random rubble stone with red brick dressings (decoration). The windows date from the 18th century and have iron leaded casements (opening parts). Historically most houses in Godden Green were lived in by people who worked on the Knole Estate.
