Burton Memorial Stone, Grand Parade, Hastings, East Sussex
The memorial was put in place in 1898. An inscription on the stone states: "This stone erected in 1898 marks the eastern boundary at this point of the Town of St Leonard's. Founded by the Late James Burton Esq. 1828".
