Chesterfield Town Hall, Chesterfield, Derbyshire

The town hall dates from 1933-8. It was designed by A J Hope of Bradshaw, Gass and Hope of Bolton. It is built from orange brick with Portland stone decoration. It is in a fine position overlooking the valley. It is a large imposing building built in a Classical style and quite different from other buildings in the town centre.
