Church of All Saints, Church Street, Wing, Buckinghamshire

This church dates back as far as the 10th century. It was probably built for Aelfgifa, the sister-in-law to King Eadgar (959-75). This makes it one of the oldest remaining churches in Britain. The church has had extensive renovation work undertaken on it, particularly in the 14th, 15th and 19th centuries. The nave, north aisle, chancel and crypt survive from the 10th century.
