Church of St Dunstan, Burton Lane, Monks Risborough, Buckinghamshire

This is the parish church of Monks Risborough and dates back to the 14th century. It was extensively restored in 1863-4 by the architect G. E. Street. The church is dedicated to Saint Dunstan. As well as being an important minister to several kings, Saint Dunstan was the abbot for Glastonbury, the bishop of Worcester, a bishop of London and an archbishop of Canterbury. His work in these roles restored monastic life in England and reformed the English Church.
