Darley Abbey, Darley Street, Derby

The remains of Darley Abbey. An Augustinian Priory was founded here in c1146. The monks were moved here from St Helen's, Derby. The Abbey was dissolved in 1538. This is the only surviving building and dates from the 15th century.
