Dogdyke Pumping Station, Dogdyke, Tattershall, Lincolnshire

This building was a fen drainage pumping station. It was built in 1855 and still has a beam engine of that date. By 1970 the pumping station was disused but still in reasonable condition. There was a meeting of interested parties in November 1973 to establish a trust to preserve the 1855 beam engine.
