Eleanor Cross, Waltham Cross, Cheshunt, Hertfordshire

A view of the cross with children sitting around the base. It is one of twelve crosses built by Edward I to mark the route of his Queen, Eleanor's, funeral procession from Lincolnshire to London. Only three remain standing.
