Engine house, Burrow Farm, Brompton Regis, Somerset

The only engine house for a Cornish pumping engine to survive in Somerset. It was built in 1879 and is next to a large spoil heap and the site of the mine shaft. It was for mining iron ore and iron stone. It appears to lie on top of the site of an earlier mine.
