Forge Mill, Hucknall, Nottinghamshire

This was a cotton spinning mill and mill house. It was built in 1787 by the Robinson family of Papplewick. This mill is one of a number built at Papplewick, Hucknall and Bulwell by the Robinson family who pioneered industrial cotton spinning and the use of steam power in this area.
