Former Bluecoat School, Mansfield Road, Nottingham

This building was originally the Nottingham Bluecoat School. It was founded as a co-educational Charity School in 1706. It was "to train poor children in the knowledge of God and religion, as taught in the Church of England." This particular school building was built in 1852. It was built by TC Hine of Nottingham with sculptures by J Stonehouse of Nottingham.
