Former Grammar School, George Lane, Plympton St Maurice, Plymouth

The Grammar School was built in 1664. Joshua Reynolds, the artist, was a pupil at this school and his father was a master. This is a magnificent example of a large school of this date built in Perpendicular Gothic style. It has since been used as Education Offices.
