Former John White Shoe Factory, Rushden, Northamptonshire

This factory was built in 1938. It was built for the John White shoe company. It was designed by Sir Albert Richardson. He was a Professor of Architecture at University College London and later the President of the Royal Academy. This is a rare example of a factory by this important classical architect.
