Former Secondary School, Victoria Road, Middlesbrough

This school was built in 1892 and extended in 1900. It was designed by Alexander & Herman. It is built of brick with terracotta dressings and Westmoreland slate roofs with tall brick stacks. It was originally a senior school and had two entrances in the centre of the building; SENIOR BOYS to the left and SENIOR GIRLS to the right. It has since been used as a primary and an infants school and as a museum store.
