Foundry School, Foundry Hill, Hayle, Cornwall

This building was originally a school for foundry workers children. It was built around 1860 for Harvey and Co. Before the 1870 Education Act many children were not able to go to school unless there was a local school provided by the church or, as in this case, by a wealthy factory owner.
