Gateway to Croft Castle, Croft Park, Croft, Herefordshire

This is the gateway and curtain wall to Croft Castle. They were built in the late 18th century. Croft Castle itself is a country house, probably dating from the late 16th or early 17th century. It is built on the remains of a 14th/15th century castle, which was dismantled by Royalists in 1645.
