Gonville and Caius College Lecture Rooms, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire

These lecture rooms are situated on the south side of the college Master's garden. They were built in 1883 by A. Waterhouse. Gonville and Caius College was established in 1348 by Edmund Gonville. It is Cambridge University's fourth oldest college and twelve Nobel Prize winners have studied at this college. Waterhouse was a leading Victorian architect. He designed many great buildings such as the Natural History Museum and Manchester Town Hall. He won many awards and was president of the Royal Institute British Architects (RIBA) from 1888-1891.
