Greyfriars Friary, Row 92, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk

The ruins of Greyfriars Friary became part of a row of buildings. The site was bombed twice during World War Two. This photograph is captioned, 'Showing further damage by enemy action on 25.6.42'. It shows the bomb damage and also where attempts have been make to prop up the crumbling remains. The ruins have since been preserved and are now under the care of English Heritage (2010).
