Harmere Hall, Harmere Hill, Etchingham, East Sussex

The main portion of this house was built in the early 17th century. The house was owned by the Busbridge family in the 17th century. John Busbridge was shot by Cromwellian soldiers when leaning out of a window here. In the early 19th century the house was owned by John Lade, who happened to be the Prince Regent's friend.
