Hesketh Crescent, Torquay, Torbay

This Crescent of 15 houses was built in 1846-48 for Sir Laurence Palk. They are now divided into holiday flats and a hotel. This is the grandest work in Torquay by the Harvey sons (architects). This photograph shows that they have a grand view over the sea and originally stood among trees, a good distance away from other buildings.
