Junior School, St Helen's Auckland, Durham

St Helen's Auckland Junior School was built in 1900 in a Baroque style. It is built from bright red brick with ashlar dressings. It has a Welsh slate roof with red ridge tiles. It had 2 entrances; one is labelled BOYS and the other GIRLS. It has the word COOKERY over another doorway which has been blocked in. This village school is still operating in 2010 as St.Helens Community Primary School.
