King's Windmill, Shipley, West Sussex

Smock mill and engine house built in 1879 - 1880. It was a corn mill and is a good example of a smock mill in working order and is the most recent and biggest windmill in Sussex. The steam engine was important to the operation of the mill as the location was not ideal for catching the wind.
