Ledbury, Herefordshire

Ledbury's medieval origins are readily apparent in this townscape. The town is focussed on one street which is overseen by a triangular market place at its widest point. The half-timbered open-floor market hall was completed in 1655 and is thought, perhaps erroneously, to be by John Abel.
