Leeds School Of Medicine, Thoresby Place, Leeds, West Yorkshire

The Experimental Laboratory within the New Medical School in Leeds, with laboratory equipment on the students' benches. The school is now commonly known as the Old Medical School, and was built between 1891 and 1894 to the designs of William Henry Thorp. This photograph was commissioned by Dr R N Hartley, a member of the Opthalmology section of the British Medical Association and likely to have been a Professor at the School of Medicine.
