Lifeboat Disaster Monument, Victoria Road, Alderburgh, Suffolk
Built in 1898, these marble structures are monuments to a lifeboat Disaster. On the east side an inscription records the events of December 7th 1898, when 7 members of the Aldeburgh Lifeboat died in a rescue attempt
