Londesborough Arms Hotel, Market Weighton, East Riding of Yorkshire

The hotel was built as a coaching inn by the Duke of Devonshire around 1780. It was designed by John Carr who was also designing buildings for him in Buxton. Coaching inns were used by coaches to change horses and allow travellers to refresh themselves.
