London Bridge, City of London, Greater London

A view looking north across the Thames showing the 'New' London Bridge crowded with traffic. The 'New' London Bridge replaced the 'Old' medieval bridge in 1831. By the 1890s the bridge was London's most congested spot. After surveys showed that the bridge was sinking, it was sold and reconstructed at Lake Havasu City, Arizona in 1971.
