Louth Hospital, High Holme Road, Louth, Lincolnshire

This workhouse was built in 1837-39. It was designed by George Gilbert Scott and William Bonython Moffatt for the Louth Poor Law Union. They also designed workhouses at Boston, Horncastle and Spilsby. This one was meant to be for 350 people. It cost £6,000 to build.
