Low Green, Aldbrough, looking towards High Green and Greencroft. There are cattle and chickens roaming freely on the village green. A group of children are sat in front of the farm buildings. This photograph is one of a series taken by Thomas Watson. They were used by the Victoria County History to illustrate the ‘History of the County of York North Riding: Volume 2’, published in 1923.
