Manor Farmhouse, Clanfield, Hampshire
This building was originally a 14th century aisled hall. The timber posts still survive today. In the 15th century a cross wing and passage was added. In the 16th century the hall was made smaller and fireplaces were added upstairs. In the 17th century the cross wing was refaced. Only minor changes were made in the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. An archaeological survey of the house was carried out in 1968 by Prof. B Cunliffe and John Budden.
