Milford, Derbyshire
An aerial view of Milford in Derbyshire in the Derwent Valley. Once a quiet hamlet, the settlement grew when Jedediah Strutt built a cotton mill here in the 1790s and surrounded it with new dwellings for his workforce. The mill was largely demolished in the 1950s.
