Miners' Convalescent Home, Bispham, Lancashire

While many of the houses provided by the Miners' Welfare Fund were conversions, this site near Blackpool was purpose built due to the lack of appropriate accommodation in the area. It was opened in 1927 and had facilities for 132 miners.
