Moore Cottage Hospital, Bourton on the Water, Gloucestershire

This Cottage Hospital was built in 1928. It has a two-storey main block with single wards on either side. A small extension was built in 1930 for an X-ray machine. The first cottage hospital was built in Bourton on the Water in 1861. It was only the third of it's kind in the country. Its building owed much to the efforts of John Moore, a local surgeon.
