Nonsuch House, Bromham, Wiltshire
The house is said to have been built in 1646 for Lord Digby, the estate passed in c1700 to William Norris (1656-1730) who rebuilt it after 1705. An estate map of 1705 shows the house. It belonged to the Norris family until 1835 and the Meredith-Brown family from 1849-c1920. It was also altered for the Bankier family, who were the owners from 1923-30.
