Opthalmic Hospital, Church Street, Maidsone, Kent

The large hospitals in Kent had their origins in the late 18th century. A few specialist hospitals were founded. The Ophthalmic Hospital in Maidstone is one of these. It was built in 1852. It is now closed and the building is being converted into housing.
