Passenger ferry, Kings Lynn, Norfolk
Much of East Anglia is watery, and many rivers could only be crossed by ferry before road bridges were built in the later 20th century. This foot ferry on the River Great Ouse at Kings Lynn was only a rowing boat with an outboard motor attached.
