This shows the buildings surrounding the First Court, Old Court and Gisborne Court. The First Court Of The Chapel was constructed in 1628-32 by George Thompson. Peterhouse College is the oldest college of Cambridge University, having been founded in 1284 by Hugo de Balsham, the Bishop of Ely. Peterhouse is the smallest of Cambridge Universities traditional colleges, only taking in 284 undergraduates, 130 graduate students and 45 fellows.
