Regent's Park Explosion, St Johns Wood, Westminster, London

A view of houses in Regent's Park after the barge Tilbury, carrying gunpowder and petroleum on the Regent's Canal, exploded at 3am on 10th October 1874. Four people were killed and Macclesfield Bridge was destroyed. After this it was known as Blow-Up Bridge.
