Rindleford Mill, Rindleford, Shropshire

This mill building dates from the 18th century. There was a fulling mill here in the medieval period. By the early 18th century it was being used as an oil mill. The present building was a flour mill. Also from the end of the 19th century it was used to pump water from a well to a reservoir. In 1936 it was estimated that 30,000 gallons a day were being pumped up to Bromley reservoir.
