Royal Crescent, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire

This is a terrace of 18 houses. They were built in c1806-10. They were built as fashionable lodgings for visitors to the Spa. The Duke of Gloucester lived at No.18 when he was visited by Princess Victoria in 1830. No.11 was the home of Dr Henry Charles Boisragan, Physician Extraordinary to the King. It is the earliest important Georgian terrace to have been built in Cheltenham.
