Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases, Bath, Bath and North East Somerset

The Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases was the city’s first hospital (known then as the Bath General Infirmary) and opened in 1742. At that time it was only open to visitors from outside the city.
